SEED OF LIFE FARM CSA
(Community Supported Agriculture)    

Being a member of a weekly veggie box (also known as CSA) provides you with a wonderful selection of in-season, fresh produce for 18 weeks or more. Thanks to our partnership with local farms and our collective UNiTY FARM COLLECTIVE, we are able to offer a wide range of other products to add-on to our veggies.  We put a lot of thought into ensuring we provide a diverse selection every week.  

The CSA subscription style farm veggie box exists to provide farmers with a source of income at the beginning of the season, as well as enabling customers to secure their “share” of the bounty for the year.  Usually provided weekly or bi-weekly, this is often an integral part of many small farm operations as it gives farmers some financial security to keep their operation running smoothly before harvesting starts.

BOX OPTIONS:
FULL SEASON SIGN UP 18 WEEKS - June to October, starting date is dependant on weather

ONLINE STORE / ORDERING

• Being a CSA member ensures you get to try all of our in-season produce as soon as it's available.  Ordering is done through our website’s online store. All the details about the ordering process will be sent to you after your subscription.
• We are working on an alternative option in our online store for those who can't commit to a full season, or would like to purchase on a more casual basis.  Note that certain items may not always be in the store due to limited availability and signing up for the full season gives you access to all of our items.

ADD-ON ITEMS

Each week, you will have the option to add-on items to your box. You will find listed: veggies not included in the box, bulk orders options, dried herbs and flowers. In addition to our produce, we also bring you a wide assortment of in-season items from our “Partner” Farms to add to your box:

- Herbs from TLC Gardens (grown at Seed Of Life Farm)
- Fruit from Ven'Amour Organics
- Fruit and veggies from Cawtson Market Farmer (organically grown in Cawston)
- Organic Green Tea from our friends at Tokushiba Tea(Japan)
- Various in season produce and fruit from local farms

SUBSTITUTIONS & CUSTOMIZED BOXES

Each CSA season, we work hard to offer you boxes that are diverse, and to do so requires lots of planning. 

• If you have an allergy or a dietary restriction please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you!
• You have the option to customize your box, more details to come on how to proceed once you are subscribed. Please know that customized boxes create extra work for our team! Hence why we encourage you to opt for the predetermined box of the week!

PICK-UP

- Friday (evening), Saturday or Sunday at Seed Of Life Farm (13278 84 ave, Surrey)

- Saturdays 10-2pm @ Riley Park Farmers' Market (Vancouver) This season we might not participate to all the Saturday markets, please get in touch with us if Saturdays are your only option!

- Sundays 10-2pm @ Mount Pleasant Farmers' Market (Vancouver)

Some of our customers team up with their neighbors to have a communal delivery spot or take turns to pick up the boxes at the market or at the farm for each other.

PAYMENT

• PAY IN FULL BEFORE APRIL 1ST AND GET A 5% DISCOUNT (Approximative value of a free box!)
• PAYMENTS FOR THE FULL SEASON ARE DUE BY MAY 15TH
• PAY IN 2 INSTALLMENTS DUE BY APRIL 1ST AND JULY 15TH

Small Box: 2 installments of $202.50

Big box: 2 installments of $270

Pay by: E-transfer, credit card, Paypal, cheque or cash

REFERRALS / SIGN UP BONUS / RETURNING CUSTOMERS

You like our box and want to spread the word? For every customer you refer, who purchases a yearly subscription to the box, you get a $10 credit to spend on our veggies!  Early sign ups receive a 5% discount.  Returning customers are giving priority on our sign up list.
